Biosynthesis of Silver Nanoparticles Using Eryngium Campestre Extract and its Antimicrobial Effect on Staphylococcus aureus
In this study, Eryngium Campestre, a therapeutic herbal extract, was used as a reducing agent for the biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles. By adding the silver nitrate salt with a concentration of 20 mM to the extract, the reaction was performed at room temperature, and the color change of the extract from pale yellow to black specified the production of silver nanoparticles.
